Benefiting from the electric motor’s contribution, the Urus plug-in hybrid is expected to surpass the current Urus lineup’s peak power output of 657 horsepower. Furthermore, a modest electric driving range should be feasible, enabling the Urus to navigate urban areas imposing restrictions on non-electric or high-emission vehicles.

It’s also projected that a variant of the Urus’ V-8 plug-in hybrid system will be employed in the upcoming Huracán successor, marking the retirement of the V-10 engine. This development heralds the culmination of Lamborghini’s exclusive reliance on gasoline engines.
