Porsche is getting ready to show their new and improved Cayenne SUV at the 2023 Shanghai auto show. It will be available to buy later this year, as a 2024 model.
Porsche recently made an important update to one of their car models. This will help make sure the vehicle looks new as they plan to launch a completely battery powered version around 2026. While this electric model is being released, they’ll still sell the traditional gas-powered version for some time.
Porsche is making some changes to its cars – on the inside and outside. It’s getting rid of old, analog controls and replacing them with digital screens. There will be one big 12.7-inch screen in the dashboard for the driver, plus a 12.3-inch screen for entertainment, and an optional 10.9-inch screen for passengers in the front seat.
A new teaser shot of the exterior reveals that the headlights of this vehicle have a flatter and more angular shape compared to other Porsche models. These special headlights are known as matrix LED with four different projectors instead one, which provide double the brightness and a better light pattern for drivers.
Porsche is making some changes to the chassis of their cars. This includes adding special shock absorbers and bigger wheels, which will make the rides smoother and safer. It’s not yet known what updates they’re doing for the engine, but people say that a new V-8 engine might replace the existing twin-turbo V-6 in the Cayenne S. It’s likely that Porsche will also increase the power across other grades too.
The latest Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid is the most powerful with 670 horsepower! The Cayenne Coupe has an even more powerful version of this vehicle called the Turbo GT which produces 631 horse power. It’s not certain yet if the Turbo GT will become part of the regular Cayenne lineup. The updated versions for both cars will be revealed at a car show in Shanghai set to start on April 18th.
