Ken Block is set to grace the screens one final time in the renowned Gymkhana series.

On a recent Tuesday, Hoonigan debuted a teaser for Electrikhana 2 and disclosed that this chapter would mark Block’s concluding participation in the Gymkhana franchise. The release is slated for December.

Tragically, Block passed away in January from a snowmobile incident at the age of 55.

The Electrikhana 2 teaser presents Block in action within a novel environment, driving his specially crafted Audi S1 Hoonitron.

With its debut on YouTube this December, Electrikhana 2 will serve as a posthumous homage to the rally icon nearly one year after his passing and slightly over a year since the inaugural Electrikhana film set against the backdrop of Las Vegas.

Drawing inspiration from the celebrated Audi Sport Quattro S1 that participated in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, the Audi S1 Hoonitron was engineered internally by Audi in collaboration with Block. It is propelled by dual electric motors located on each axle, giving it the capability to execute precision drifts with its all-wheel-drive system. The vehicle’s power emanates from four battery arrays, originating from a Q7 plug-in hybrid variant not available in the United States market, strategically placed at the core of the chassis for optimal balance.

The creation of the Hoonitron is estimated to have cost Audi approximately $12 million, underscoring the substantial investment in this one-of-a-kind venture.
