The Californian high-performance brand Rezvani is on the brink of revealing its latest iteration of the Beast sports car. A teaser video was released this Tuesday, offering a sneak peek.
Slated for an early 2024 launch, which marks a decade since the original model’s introduction as Rezvani’s inaugural offering, the new Beast promises significant upgrades.
Key features of this model include its mid-engine design, a body crafted from lightweight carbon fiber, and the power of a twin-turbo engine exceeding 1,000 horsepower.
Labelled as an “all-American” creation, the car’s mid-engine structure implies that it might be built on the chassis of the C8 Chevrolet Corvette.
Rezvani has a history of using donor chassis for its vehicles; the first Beast was based on the Ariel Atom from the U.K., which contributed to its minimal curb weight of 1,470 pounds. Despite its initial 315 horsepower from a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, later versions were enhanced to 500 and 700 horsepower, utilizing Lotus Elise chassis.
Reservations for the upcoming Beast are now open, with a $500 refundable deposit required.
This model isn’t Rezvani’s first venture into producing vehicles with four-figure horsepower. Their Jeep Wrangler-inspired Tank reaches up to 1,000 horsepower, powered by a modified 6.2-liter V-8 Hellcat supercharged engine. Additionally, the 6×6 Hercules version boasts a staggering 1,300 horsepower, leveraging a tuned engine from the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.
Given Rezvani’s history of impressive creations, anticipation is high for what the new Beast will bring to the table.
