Ineos, the renowned British chemical giant, is expanding its rugged Grenadier lineup by introducing a crew cab pickup truck variant, set to arrive in the U.S. later this year.
Recently, Ineos unveiled the pickup truck, officially named the Grenadier Quartermaster, with a single teaser image showcasing its rear. The tailgate proudly displays the embossed Grenadier logo, making its identity unmistakable.
The eagerly anticipated debut of the Grenadier Quartermaster will take place at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed, scheduled to begin on July 13 in the United Kingdom. In addition to the pickup truck, Ineos plans to showcase a Grenadier technology demonstrator featuring a hydrogen fuel cell powertrain at the same event.
While Ineos has yet to disclose specific details regarding the Grenadier Quartermaster’s specifications, they did provide a glimpse during the initial debut of the SUV back in 2020. At that time, Ineos hinted at a stretched wheelbase version for the pickup truck (measuring 127 inches compared to the SUV’s 115 inches). Additionally, spy shots of Grenadier Quartermaster prototypes have surfaced, indicating a generously sized truck bed.
Similar to the SUV, the Grenadier Quartermaster will likely share the same body-on-frame platform and have comparable specifications. In the U.S., the SUV starts at $71,500 and features a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive with a 2-speed transfer case.

Production of the Grenadier takes place at a former Mercedes-Benz facility located in Hambach, France.
