The Honda Ridgeline truck is getting a makeover for 2024. A prototype of the modernized mid-size pickup truck has already been spotted. This current version was released 4 years ago in 2017 and it got its first update about last year in 2021. Later this year, Honda will further enhance the design and power of the Ridgeline with some new features, including the “TrailSport” grade!

This prototype we’re seeing here seems to be the basic version of the Ridgeline and not the TrailSport, because it doesn’t have features like a higher ride height or off-road tires which were just introduced on the Pilot TrailSport for 2023.

The camouflage gear that’s on/around this prototype suggests that there are going to be some changes in its front and back fascia, as well as its grille. According to our photographer, some parts of the interior might also receive an update with some camouflage gear added in them too.

Honda is probably switching the motor in their Ridgeline vehicle. It’s likely that they’ll use the engine from their 2023 Pilot. This new engine produces a bit more power (285 HP) than before (280 HP), and it works with a 10-speed automatic transmission, instead of 9-speeds used earlier. The production for all this is done at Honda’s factory in Lincoln, Alabama. We’ll let you know when we have any updates on this story!
