After its revamp in 2023, the Lexus RX welcomes a new plug-in hybrid variant for the 2024 model year.

A glance at the Lexus RX
The RX 450h+ is Lexus’s second plug-in hybrid, following the mechanically comparable, smaller NX 450h+. It may seem costly, but it includes standard all-wheel drive and a host of RX’s deluxe features.
The vehicle utilizes a 2.5-liter inline-4 as its internal combustion component and includes an 18.1-kwh lithium-ion battery in its powertrain. Lexus has yet to disclose full powertrain details, including a power figure, but in other regions, the RX 450h+ boasts a combined 302 hp. Lexus anticipates a 0-60 mph acceleration of 6.2 seconds and a 35-mile pure electric range for owners.

Looks like a solid piece of kit. That 21-speaker sound system tho, can’t imagine what that’s like! And remote parking sounds interesting, wouldn’t mind giving that a go.
wow, another plug-in hybrid from Lexus. But that price though…you really gotta shell out the big bucks. Still, can’t deny its got some killer features. Heated AND cooled seats? sign me up!
0-60 in 6.2 seconds? not too shabby Lexus, not too shabby at all. But still waiting to see the real power figure. Anybody hear anything about that yet?

Not sure about the 2.5-liter inline-4. Wish Lexus would’ve gone with something more powerful. Guess it’s all about fuel efficiency these days…
