Aehra, an emerging player in the electric vehicle industry based in Italy, has revealed its latest model, an electric sedan. Co-founder and chief designer Filippo Perini, who was once in charge of design at Lamborghini, presented the new model at the 2023 Milan motor show on Friday.

Perini assured that the current design closely mirrors what the final production version will look like. While the interior was not showcased, it is anticipated to bear resemblance to the cabin of the SUV, with a likely feature being screens across the width of the dashboard and separate screens on either side, showing feed from camera stalks.
Aiming for a 497-mile range (a figure that is probably based on the more forgiving European testing cycle) for both the Sedan and SUV, Aehra is in collaboration with Austria’s Miba Battery Systems. Together, they are developing a unique battery solution that prioritizes efficiency and repairability.

The battery equipment will be specifically designed to fit Aehra’s EV platform. In the Sedan, this permits the cooling and aerodynamic components to be situated lower in the car, resulting in a sleeker appearance. To reduce the car’s weight, carbon-fiber composites will also be used.
Aehra plans to begin deliveries to “key markets” by 2026, which includes North America, Europe, China, and the Gulf States.
