Ford is setting a strategy to ensure the Ford Bronco Sport range remains invigorated.
On Tuesday, the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport series was revealed, featuring a new Free Wheeling special edition. Also joining the line-up is a fresh Black Appearance Package, available as an add-on. Ford has started accepting orders for the new models as of today.

Resurgence of the Free Wheeling package
The Free Wheeling special edition begins as a Bronco Sport Big Bend model but distinguishes itself with its unique reflective red, orange, yellow, and silver decals on the body sides, tailgate, and hood, which are quite noticeable.
The default 17-inch aluminum wheels from the Big Bend model are reimagined in black, sporting red accents. The Bronco badges showcase a two-tone color palette, and the grille is repainted silver. A new silver insert is added to the lower grille, and a black roof completes the aesthetic.
The decals are a nod to the Free Wheeling package seen on the F-100, F-150, Bronco, Econoline, and other vehicles from the 1970s.
Inside, the Free Wheeling edition incorporates sunset-colored seat inserts, contrasting the black and gray space with red, orange, and yellow seat stitching. The trim on the doors and dash comes in Race Red.
Ford confirmed that the Bronco Sport Free Wheeling is a limited edition model, retailing at $35,325, inclusive of destination charges. However, the company has not disclosed the number of units to be produced.

Inclusion of a Black Appearance Package
Ford introduces a new blackout package, named the Black Appearance Package, for Bronco Sport buyers interested in a more subdued and stealthy aesthetic. This package gives the Bronco Sport a completely darkened exterior.
This package consists of a black grille, dark two-tone Bronco Sport badges, matte-black 17-inch wheels, and a matte-black hood graphic. The roof is painted black, complementing the blacked-out trim and smoked Ford badges.
The interior of the Bronco Sports with the Black Appearance Package features charcoal and leather-trimmed seats and a black bucking Bronco on the steering wheel cover.
Just like the Free Wheeling package, the Black Appearance Package will only be available on the Big Bend model and Ford has priced it at $1,750.
The Big Bend model is powered by a 1.5-liter turbo-3 engine, delivering 181 hp and 190 lb-ft of torque. The transmission is managed by an 8-speed automatic, and all-wheel drive comes as standard. However, the options list does not include the Badlands’ locking rear differential or its advanced, off-road-focused twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system.
