Mercedes-Benz is making changes to the two-door models that they offer and the new model is thought to be known as CLE-Class. Our recent pictures show a prototype of this new CLE-Class Cabriolet in sporty AMG style. We’ve also seen models for the normal CLE-Class Cabriolet, coupe, an AMG CLE 43 Cabriolet and an AMG CLE 63 S E Performance Coupe.
The new prototype is for a very special type of car called the ‘CLE 63 S E Performance Cabriolet.’ It’s the top AMG model because it has square-shaped exhaust tips, instead of regular round ones. You can also tell that it’s an AMG car by checking out its really big wheels and brakes, as well as its lowered suspension, plus large air openings on its front.
The under-the-hood system of the 2024 C 63 S E Performance sedan is powered by a turbo-4. It’s an improved version of the 2.0-liter engine usually seen on other AMG compact cars. The turbocharger makes it so that the engine provides 469 horsepower and the electric motor works with the engine like a starter plus it helps power other things.
This car has a motor with up to 201 horse power which can make up to 671 horsepower for brief moments. It comes with its own 2-speed transmission and also has a 6.1 kwh battery for some short electric range.
The CLE 43 grade vehicle might use the same motor setup as the 2023 C 43 sedan. That would be a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that can make 402 horsepower and comes with an extra 14 horsepower from a mild hybrid system.
We can expect the regular CLE class to come out soon in both coupe and convertible shapes. The AMG versions will follow up later, within six months to one year after its release.
