Recently, pictures and a video of the next Mini Countryman have been spotted! This redesigned car will come out later this year and it’ll available to buy in the next year, labeled as a 2025 model. Another car, possibly named Aceman or Paceman will follow soon after that.

The newest pictures of the Countryman show no camouflage. Compared to the last two designs, this version has become less curved which you can see with its square shaped headlights. There is something weird about where the rear three-quarter window is placed.

The new Countryman will be bigger than the older version. It’s length is 174 inches, which is 5.1 inches more than before and its height increased by 2.4 inches to 63.5 inches. On the dashboard you can spot a display unit in front of the driver, or might just be a screen.

Mini has redesigned their Countryman to make the car bigger, so it will be more attractive in many different countries. They are also making the smaller ‘Aceman’ which can be seen since last July. The Aceman is a special electric vehicle that is made by Spotlight Automotive – a joint venture between Mini and Great Wall Motors created in 2019.

Mini has created a new version of their Countryman cars using BMW Group’s special car platform made for front-wheel-drive vehicles. The Countryman is very similar to the newest 2023 BMW X1, and both cars will be produced in one location – a factory in Leipzig, Germany. Before this development, the current model of the Countryman had been built since 2016 at another plant run by VDL Nedcar.

Mini is giving the option to have electric versions of the new Countryman with either 188 hp or a 308 hp. The 308 hp version will also include an all-wheel drive due to having two motors driving it. This car has a 64.7 kilowatt-hour battery charged, which could travel up to 280 miles in foreign countries but you may not be able to get as far on it at home.

Most of the Minis will still use gas-fuel, but unfortunately a plug-in hybrid model is unlikely. The basic “Cooper” models are likely to stay with their 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. Meanwhile, the “Cooper S” could include a 2.0 liter turbo-4 engine and perhaps the same engine may be featured in the John Cooper Works (JCW) model. On top of that, Mini is already looking into creating an electric powertrain for future JCW products.

The last generation of the Countryman that runs on gas is coming soon. Mini will only make electric vehicles starting in 2025. They’re also working on a new version of the Cooper hatchback car, which will come out next year as a 2025 model.
