Mercedes-Benz is upgrading their GLA and GLB models, which will be released in 2023 for the 2024 year. For both crossovers you can expect a changed design, more fuel-efficient engines, and technology updates in the interior. We still don’t know how much it’ll cost yet – but Mercedes will make that info available closer to the release date!

The outside of the car has been given new looks with different wheel styles and LED lights now automatically included. The design on the inside of the car has also been changed. The center console is more organized and all of the buttons are located on the touchscreen in the infotainment system. Nappa leather will come standard as part of a new steering wheel design.

The vehicles come with two 10.3-inch screens, one for the dashboard and another for the infotainment system. The infotainment screen runs a special software called MBUX and is activated by voice command. You can also connect your phone wirelessly, using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, and get access to a cool audio system with Dolby Atmos sound quality.

In the GLA-Class and GLB-Class, you can get a 2.0-litre turbo engine that works with a special mild-hybrid system. You can choose between having the engine power only two front wheels or all four wheels if you select 4Matic all-wheel drive. The transmission is a 9-speed automatic. This engine has a top strength of 221 horse powers, but when it’s teamed up with the mild-hybrid system, it can provide 13 more horse powers momentarily.

If you’re looking for more power, the GLA 35 and GLB 35 from AMG are good choices. They use a similar engine and mild-hybrid system to the standard versions of these cars, but they have an extra push, with 302 horsepower. Also, they come with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive as standard. Unfortunately, there won’t be any high-performing nGLA 45s offered in 2024; it’s not certain if it will come back at a later date.

There are going to be newer versions of the electric EQA and EQB car models released soon. Currently, only the EQB type is available in America and this will most likely stay the same when the new models come out.
