Aston Martin announced a convertible version of their DBS 770 Ultimate which is called the Volante. It’s limited to only 199 cars worldwide and all of them have already been sold out. The coupe version, first shown in January 2021, was also limited to 300 units but those are all sold out too!

The DBS Superleggera Volante has a special roof with 8 layers that help block out noise and keep the weather out. It takes 16 seconds to open and close, and you can still operate it when driving at speeds up to 31 mph.

The DBS 770 Ultimate is the latest and most powerful model of the DBS line. Its engine has a whopping 759 horsepower and can go from 0 – 62 mph very quickly at only 3.2 seconds for the coupe and 3.6 seconds for the Volante. On top of that, it has an impressive top speed of 211 mph!

The DBS 770 Ultimate has some awesome improvements compared to the 715-hp DBS Superleggera. It has a chassis tuned for better performance, plus some cool new pieces outside and inside. On the outside, the most eye-catching tweak is probably the horseshoe-shaped hood vent which helps keep the car cool while also boosting its aerodynamics. The extra vents on the fenders and bigger rear diffuser at the back also help with aerodynamics.

The DBS 770 Ultimate is going to come out at the start of 2023, but we don’t know how much it will cost or if it will be available in the US. When this car comes out, the DB11 will replace it as the new star grand tourer from Aston Martin. This means, they’ll give it a big makeover and possibly change its name so that it looks nice and drives well enough to replace the DBS.
