Last fall, Acura released a new version of their TLX car, called the Type S PMC Edition, which came with three choices of color. Now they have added another option to choose from – Gotham Gray!
Acura’s PMC Editions are special cars made in the company’s Ohio factory, which was once used to build the NSX. The cars are carefully crafted by the same technicians who worked on the supercar, and only a few of them can be bought with unique colors that were saved for the NSX.
Now, if you’re looking for something cool and special, here’s a car you should look at. It’s called the TLX Type S PMC Edition and only 50 of them are being sold. The cost to get one starts from $66,995 and it comes with an exclusive color called Gotham Gray which used to be seen on the 2022 NSX Type S. This metallic grey has a matte finish that makes it really stand out.
The TLX Type S PMC Edition comes with a special paint and some other cool features. The door handles, sideskirts and 20-inch wheels all have Berlina Black coloring, while the decklid spoiler and rear diffuser are made from carbon fiber. Lastly, the exhaust tips feature a black chrome finish.
The cabin looks fancy with the addition of carbon fiber material and glowing footplates. The seats have a cool pattern of red leather, black stitching, and fake suede cloth. A special number plaque is also placed on the center console.
The PMC Edition of the regular TLX Type S has a turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine, which gives off 355 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque. This rides with the help of a 10-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system that makes turning easier. It can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about five seconds, which is 25% faster than the regular TLX. Its top speed is limited to 155 miles per hour as compared to 130 miles per hour for the standard model. There’s also sportier suspension and better brakes from Brembo added to enhance its performance altogether.
Acura announced that the new TLX Type S PMC Edition will be released next month.
