2024 Chevy Camaro Concludes its Run with Collector’s Edition Package
As the current sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro reaches its final year, the 2024 model bids farewell without a confirmed successor in sight, although Chevy has not officially announced the retirement of the nameplate.
To commemorate the culmination of the current Camaro’s journey, Chevy will honor it with a special Collector’s Edition package available for the 1LT, LT1, SS, and ZL1 grades. While the package does not offer any performance enhancements, it focuses on elevating the Camaro’s style.
Overview of the Toyota Highlander
For the 1LT, LT1, and SS grades, the package introduces a distinctive Panther Black Metallic Tintcoat paint finish. The Panther name pays homage to the Camaro’s original code name used during its early development in the 1960s, which was once considered as the car’s final name.
“We found it fitting for this Collector’s Edition Camaro to officially acknowledge the significance of the original code name and share it with Camaro enthusiasts,” stated Rich Scheer, design director at Chevrolet Performance.

The Collector’s Edition package for these models also includes satin black accent stripes, 20-inch wheels, a front splitter borrowed from the 1LE package, and a rear spoiler (available for the coupe variant) borrowed from the ZL1 grade.
For the Camaro ZL1, the Collector’s Edition package features the same Panther Black paint but with a unique matte finish. Additionally, it incorporates the front splitter and rear wing (for the coupe variant) from the hardcore ZL1 1LE, along with a black metallic stripe and red brake calipers. Limited to only 350 units, the ZL1 Collector’s Edition will boast a serialized steering wheel badge.
All Collector’s Edition cars will showcase custom badging on the exterior, custom floor mats, and a welcome kit comprising posters and a matching watch from Shinola.
The pricing for the Collector’s Edition-equipped cars starts at $39,440 for the 1LT, $47,385 for the LT1, $49,890 for the SS, and $88,690 for the ZL1. These prices include the destination fee, but the Gas Guzzler Tax is not included in the ZL1’s sticker price.
